What is
QMEGA?
High-Dose Omega 3 from MOLEQLAR.
QMEGA is a high quality source of omega-3 fatty acids derived from cold-pressed quality fish oil. This means healthy fats that are vital for our human body. The complicated name with the last letter in the Greek alphabet stands for the specific position where a double bond is located between the carbon atoms in the fatty acid chain. Namely in the third position counted from the back. In nature, omega-3 is found in fish, algae, sea trout and some oils.
These fats are important because they can reduce inflammation and lower the risk of diseases such as heart disease and cancer. They also influence blood pressure, blood clotting and the nervous system, according to recent research. There are several types of omega-3 fats, such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These two fatty acids are contained in QMEGA and must be ingested through food, since our body cannot produce them itself.

Function of QMEGA.
Omega 3 is involved in over dozens of molecular reactions in our body and is relevant for the function of numerous metabolic steps or biochemical processes, among others. DHA and EPA as the main representatives of Omega 3 contribute to the maintenance of normal brain and heart function and vision. If the organism lacks omega, physiological and normal body functions may be lost.
Current research suggests numerous other effects of omega 3 on the organism. This could advance longevity research in particular.(R, R)

A deficiency of omega-3 fatty acids can manifest itself through a number of symptoms. Here are some common signs:
- Dry skin and hair: Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to the moisture balance in skin and hair.
- Depression and anxiety disorders: Omega-3 fatty acids are important for brain health and a deficiency can lead to mood disorders.
- Poor heart health: omega-3 fatty acids contribute to heart health, and a deficiency can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.
- Joint pain and inflammation: Omega-3 fatty acids can reduce inflammation and a deficiency can lead to joint pain and arthritis.
- Decreased concentration and attention: Omega-3 fatty acids are important for brain function and a deficiency can impair concentration and attention.
It is important to note that some of these symptoms can also be caused by other health problems. Therefore, it is always advisable to consult a doctor to make a diagnosis.
Some groups of people may be at increased risk for omega-3 deficiency and should pay special attention to their omega-3 intake. These include:
- Vegetarians and vegans: Omega-3 fatty acids are found in greater amounts in fish and seafood, which can be a challenge for vegetarians and vegans.
- People with an unbalanced diet: In general, attention should be paid to a balanced diet. Unbalanced food intake reduces the intake of omega-3 rich foods such as fish and seafood.
- People with depression and anxiety disorders: Omega-3 fatty acids can improve symptoms of depression and anxiety disorders, so it is important that these groups of people consume enough omega-3.
- People with cardiovascular disease: Omega-3 fatty acids can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women: Omega-3 fatty acids are important for brain and eye development in newborns.
- People with joint problems: Omega-3 fatty acids can reduce inflammation and may relieve joint pain.
However, it is important to note that omega-3 fatty acids are important for all people. Therefore, everyone should try to get enough omega-3 fatty acids as part of their daily diet. If an omega-3 deficiency is detected, supplementation may be useful.
To ensure an adequate supply of omega-3, you can take the following measures:
- Diet: Omega-3 fatty acids can be obtained by eating fatty fish species such as salmon, tuna, sardines and mackerel. Plant sources of omega-3 fatty acids are flax oil, chia seeds, walnuts and canola oil.
- Supplements: Omega-3 supplements are available in the form of capsules, softgels or liquids. It is important that the supplements are tested and certified by a laboratory to ensure quality and purity.
- Lifestyle changes: Reduce the consumption of foods rich in saturated fatty acids and instead increase the consumption of foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Also avoid eating foods rich in omega-6 fatty acids to maintain a balance between omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
- Detect and treat omega-3 deficiency early: If signs of a deficiency appear, it should be clarified whether an omega-3 deficiency is present and how it can be treated.
It is important to note that each person is individual and therefore omega-3 needs may vary!
QMEGA should be taken with plenty of liquid, preferably a glass of water, and together with a meal. QMEGA as a high-dose omega 3 formulation aims at high bioavailability in the body.
